DO IT! LAUNCH PARTY @ TB/R 06/05/10

The concept is plain and simple…

Upfront dance music on an amazing Sound System.

DO IT! is a brand new Bi Monthly party that promises to inject the fun back into London's Thursday nigh Clubbing.

It’s all about having fun without being made to fall in line with one sound or style.

We want people to leave our party with a smile on their face because of the music and the vibe on dance floor.

Guest Djs will be chosen because of their unique rebel attitude to working the dance floor.

We're all about new music.

If it's got a load of BASS and makes the Dance Floor go nuttz we'll play it.

On Thursday 6th May we kick off the party at London’s leading underground venue The T/BR.

Check this out for one hell of a launch party:

Last Japan (Southern Fried Records):

Hailing from South London, Marco Giuliani aka Last Japan has exploded on to the dance scene in the last year.

Still studying Music Production at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guilford, the last 12 months have seen the 20 year old grow from knocking up bootlegs in his bedroom to one of the hottest and most in demand remixer's.

With his profile growing with every remix and production it was only a matter of time before the Majors would want a slice of the action.

Atlantic, Sony and Universal co funded All Around the World have already enlisted Last Japan to rework their priority artists to give them exposure in the dance arena.

Now working on his debut artist album it could be said that this 20 year old kid still at college is close to having ‘the world at his feet’.

His productions have received heavy rotation from all major players including Rusko and DJ Zinc who both featured tracks from this South London heavy weight on their Essential Mix.

With releases from Last Japan, The Brockout, Kid Cola and Marco himself Bullet Train is going from strength to strength.

Also look out for his killer remixes of Giggs & Mike Skinner, Crystal Fighters, Bertie Blackman and Roska & Jaime George.

Not Shy:

Not Shy is one of East London’s freshest new talents and best kept secrets, gaining a reputation as a force to be reckoned with.

Not Shy bounced onto the scene with an explosive first set in July 08 which gained this new comer the attention of ravers, club kids, industry players and established DJs. He’s rapidly rising towards the top of the London scene playing at a number of clubbing institutions including Trailer Trash, Always Fridays @ Egg, SE1, 333, and others. He’s recently travelled to play at the end of season party at Chamonix’s top party venue, Le Mix. He was quickly snapped up by one of London’s underground parties Calling All Tribes to be a resident and also co-promotes his own night This Is Not A Rave which is growing a reputation for bringing some of the most up-front electronic music to the club scene.

His also been billed with some of the top talent in the game including Zombie Disco Squad, Andy George, AC Slater, Trevor Loveys, HiJack, Detboi, and Raffertie.

A true master of the slick and heavy mix, dropping high energy jump-up filthy electro house, driving jacking tech house and some wildcard bass excursions, delivered raw and loud.

Expect big things from Not Shy …

Med Damon (Snap Crackle & Pop):

"Med Damon is a staple part of London’s nightlife and rightly so. The quality of his DJ sets (and photography) make him well known. He’s been referred to as a superstar in the making more than once so he’s one of those underground DJs you’re guaranteed to have a good time with.

At only 21 years old you would think that he is in the early stages of his journey but you’d be wrong. He’s already travelled around the world and had a love affair with Hip-Hop and vinyl whilst living in Bordeaux. He’s gone on to DJ solidly for three years mixing electro from both sides of the Atlantic. Med is now in big room territory playing a heady mix of jackin' & tech house with a whole lotta bass.

Having just completed his latest mini-tour of America playing at parties in New York, Austin, Texas for SXSW, California for Coachella and in Chicago at the renowned SmartBar, Med is returning to London with a view to take his DJing to the next level…

He's played most of london's best venues and also spun in Milan for Bugged Out!, rocked the crowd at a headline gig in Stockholm and has played in Paris many times at venues like Le Nouveau Casino and Paris Paris.

Med is also one of the people behind the infamous DJ and party collective Snap, Crackle and Pop who have gone from strength to strength over the past couple of years. Being the first to book the hottest DJs in dance and championing fidget house have given them high profile success and has paved the way for residencies at All You Can Eat and Egg."
