Two years ago Circus Records made their first official landing in Miami at the prestigious Grand Central nightclub. To celebrate they released the compilation album Grand Central, featuring a range of forward thinking music styles and an iconic art deco package. Two years later, the night club has sadly closed its doors but Circus are on hand to celebrate its memory with the launch of Grand Central Miami volume 2.
This year’s album features Circus stalwarts with two barbaric tracks from Doctor P with ‘Repetition’ and the eternally in demand ‘Predator’ VIP from FuntCase. Continuing the experimental and future thinking ethos of its predecessor, Grand Central Miami 2 is then showered with a wealth of exciting new talent.
Recently signed Standard&Push demonstrate their unique sound with ‘Jetson’, Knife Party favorite Pex L brings ‘Drumback’, drum and bass legend J Magik remixes Draper’s ‘Home’ with Louise Cabrera and Jonay. Last year’s Circus Remix Competition winner Cyran releases his first original on Circus with the beautiful ‘Just Like You’ and finishing things off exciting new duo Outrun hit the spot with ‘TechnoCop’.
The legend of Grand Central lives on with the Circus Miami compilation but the Circus family have moved onto their new home, The Hangar. This year they’ve teamed up with Ram Records to fly the UK flag on Tuesday 15th March.
